Wotton-under-Edge Firework Display 2026
Ticket terms
These terms apply to Wotton-under-Edge Firework Display on Saturday 7th November 2026.
1. The organiser
The event is organised by Wotton-under-Edge & District Round Table 974, Registered Charity No. 1080029. Questions can be sent to help@wotton-firework-display.co.uk.
2. Tickets and admission
Every person attending requires a valid ticket. Children who have not yet started Reception attend free, but please make sure they have a ticket.
Adult: anyone not eligible for one of the school-age categories below.
Secondary & Sixth Form: anyone attending secondary school or sixth form, including students aged 18.
Primary School Age: Reception to Year 6.
Not yet in school: children who have not yet started Reception; admission is free but a ticket is required.
Each attendee ticket has its own QR code. For a group booking, the purchaser's confirmation email contains all of the group's tickets and QR codes in one place, so they can be kept together on one device. Individual tickets can still be scanned separately if members of the group arrive at different times.
3. Pricing
Ticket prices vary according to the remaining allocation and date of purchase. Super Saver prices apply to the first 300 paid admission tickets and end no later than 5pm on Monday 5th October 2026. Advance prices apply to the next 700 paid admission tickets and end no later than 5pm on Monday 26th October 2026. If either discounted allocation sells out before its stated closing time, the next price band starts immediately. Standard prices apply thereafter.
Tickets for children who have not yet started Reception are free but still required. They do not count towards the Super Saver or Advance paid-ticket allocations. A later change of price band does not entitle a purchaser to a refund or adjustment of the difference between ticket prices.
4. Changes of mind, transfers and refunds
Tickets relate to a leisure event taking place on a specific date. The statutory 14-day cooling-off right that applies to many online purchases does not apply to this ticket purchase.
If you are unable to attend, you do not have an automatic right to a refund. You may give your booking or ticket to another person for their personal use, provided it is not resold commercially or for more than the amount originally paid. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
5. Cancellation or material changes by us
If we cancel the event before it takes place and do not provide a replacement date, purchasers will be offered a refund of the amount paid for affected event admission and any paid event parking purchased through us.
If we materially change the date or venue, purchasers who cannot reasonably attend the revised event will be offered a refund.
The event is outdoors. We may make reasonable changes to timings, performers, displays, attractions or other programme details for operational, weather or safety reasons. Minor programme changes do not in themselves entitle the purchaser to a refund.
If an event already in progress has to be suspended or curtailed for safety reasons or circumstances outside our reasonable control, we will act reasonably having regard to the circumstances and the services already provided.
6. Behaviour and safety
Attendees must follow reasonable instructions given by event staff, security personnel and the emergency services.
We may refuse admission or require someone to leave where this is reasonably necessary for safety, security, prevention of crime, serious disruption or breach of these terms. Where refusal or removal results from that person’s conduct, no refund will normally be due.
Personal fireworks, sparklers, weapons, illegal drugs, glass containers and alcohol brought in from outside must not be brought into the event.
7. Outdoor conditions and accessibility
The event takes place outdoors in November. Attendees should dress appropriately for weather and ground conditions.
Some areas may include grass, slopes, mud, uneven surfaces or temporary lighting. We will make reasonable efforts to provide accessible arrangements. Anyone needing specific access information should contact us before attending.
8. Personal information
Personal information collected in connection with ticket sales and attendance is handled in accordance with the Event Privacy Notice.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
